Review by hotel critic
For someone like me, who often travels on a budget, this hotel stood out as the most economical choice in the area. The value it offers is commendable-private rooms at such a competitive rate are hard to find. While I stayed in a cozy top-floor room, it served its purpose for a night's rest. It wasn't big, but it was quiet, which is essential for a good night's sleep. The shared bathroom wasn't a dealbreaker for me, and with reliable Wi-Fi working well, I could catch up on work without hassle. Located just a short walk from the old town, the hotel boasts great proximity to local landmarks. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ready to offer local recommendations. Although amenities were limited-missing air conditioning and certain kitchen utilities-it provided basic comforts and a dining table for those who might want to prepare simple meals. For budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location over luxury, this place is a solid choice. If value is what you seek, Altstadthotel Wienecke certainly delivers.
